Survivors: Faces of Life after the Holocaust

As part of the events marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, from 29 January to 26 February 2025 the European Central Bank hosted an exhibition of Martin Schoeller’s compelling and deeply moving portraits of Holocaust survivors.

We remember the Holocaust

Each year at our main building, we honour the memory of the victims of the Holocaust, including the Jewish men, women and children who were deported from Frankfurt’s Grossmarkthalle – part of the site on which we now work.
